Raghunandan Ramlagan

Raghunandan Ramlagan, 84, of Orlando passed away Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando.  He was born in Enterprise, Guyana,  and employed in warehouse packing and shipping.

Raghunandan leaves to cherish his memory, wife Socilla (Saumber) Ramlagan; sons Besham Ramlagan, Nardeo Ramlagan, Brian Ramlagan, and Rajpaul Ramlagan, all of Orlando; daughter Soma Joseph of Ocoee; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021  followed by the funeral service from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home in Orlando, FL .  Cremation will follow the service on Thursday at Metro Crematory in Ocoee.


Gerald Byron Beckham

Gerald Byron Beckham, age 54, of Orlando, passed away Wednesday, May 5th, 2021.  He was born in Victoria, TX on August 24, 1966, the son of Geraldine (Weidemann) and the late Robert Eugene Beckham and was employed as a Stock Market Day Trader.

Gerald is  survived by his mother Geraldine Beckham of Orlando and his brother Daniel Beckham of Clermont, Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 21st, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home.

Steven Malkowski

Steven Malkowski, age 95 of Orlando, died on May 18, 2021. Mr. Malkowski was a retired engineer from Lockheed-Martin.  Born in Chicago, IL he moved to Orlando in January 1959.  He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church,  He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, an advocate for social services, a former chairman of the Department of children and Families, District 7 ADM planning council which covered Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties, served on the state ADM planning council, was on the executive board of Florida NAMI and NAMI of Orlando.  He also served on the advisory board for Northeast Florida State Hospital, and the Florida Center in Avon Park.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran.  His love for athletic excellence resulted in placing highly in the entire U.S. Naval aviation strength, speed and agility tests during WW2.  As a naval cadet he rose to battalion commander of his class.  The end of the war ended his flight training.  He was also a registered lobbyist for social services in the State of Florida.  In the 1990s he initiated a drive to achieve equitable funding for Central Florida ADM programs resulting in a 5.5 million dollar yearly, recurring increase.  During his years before becoming and engineering graduate from the University of Illinois.  He worked as a professional entertainer doing circus acts on various early television shows, as well as in nightclubs, theaters, and fairs.  In Central Florida he also served as vice president of cub scouting while his sons were members.  His main hobby was bowling at which he became exceptionally accomplished as evidenced by numerous 300 games and an 800 series.  He also raised exotic plants, mainly orchids and bromeliads.

He is preceded in death by his wife Imelda "Millie", He is survived by sons David of Oviedo, Steven T and John both of Orlando; daughter Ruth Ravenzahn of Orlando,  five granddaughters, Saah, Jamie, Amy, Ana and Kyra all from the Greater Orlando area; sisters Alice Klecker (deceased) from St. Petersburg, FL, MaryAnn Cluggish from Boston, Mass. 

The family will be receiving friends at 9:45a, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30a on May 26, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church with Father Bart Garcon officiating.

Gerald "Jerry" Pavlovsky, Jr.

Gerald "Jerry" Pavlovsky, Jr. passed away on Friday May 21, 2021 at the age of 75.  Born in Chicago in 1945, he grew up in Orlando after his family moved there in 1948.  He attended St. James Catholic School and Edgewater High  School.  After high school, he served three years in the United States Marines and fought in the Vietnam War.  He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion.

Following his honorable discharge from the military, he graduated from Florida Technological University (now UCF).  He worked at Southland Corporation in Orlando for nearly 20 years, then at Sysco Food Services in Ocoee for over 25 years.

After retiring from Sysco, he moved to Cape Canaveral where he could enjoy all his favorite things.  He loved to fish, golf, and relax at the beach.  He also had a great love for animals, and he enjoyed telling people about his grand-dog Red.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Elsie and his sister Eloise.  He is survived by his son Nick Pavlovsky; daughter-in-law Jamie Pavlovsky; Nancy Pavlovsky (Nick's mother); brothers Norman, Arthur, and Phil; sisters Charlotte and Dolores.

The family will be holding a funeral mass at 10:00 am on May 28, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church with Father Leo Hodges officiating.  Internment will follow the mass at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2:00 pm.

Jacqueline A. Clark

Jacqueline A. (Grippin) Clark passed away Saturday, May 29th, 2021 after a courageous 3 year battle with ovarian cancer.  She passed peacefully and surrounded by her loving family.  Jackie was the middle daughter of Jack and Phyllis Grippin.  She grew up in Middlburgh, NY where she made lifelong friendships.

In 1979 she met her soulmate Peter Clark.  For 39 years Jackie and Peter built a life together in New Windsor, NY.  They enjoyed their children, their grandchildren vacations to Cape Cod, going to the movies, but they especially enjoyed just being together.  Their adoration for each other will live on for generations to come.

Jackie also started working at West Point Tours in 1979.  She started as a bus driver and then went on to running the dispatch office where she stayed until her early retirement in 2018.  She was a leader, a teacher, a mother to some, a friend to all.  Her heart was huge.  Her laughter - contagious.  She loved Halloween and Christmas.  And her "Peter" stories would crack the whole room up.  She was larger than life.  And she will be painfully missed.

She is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Peter.  Jackie is survived by her 2 daughters Stephanie Bartholomew and Corinne (Simon) Uht.  Grandchildren: Ashley (Eli) Jacobson, Alecia (Andrew) Seletsky, Riley Uht and Simon Uht.  Great grandchildren Cooper and Olive Seletsky.  Her sisters Barbara (Carmen) St. George and Pam (Kevin) Stock.  Her nieces and nephews: Nick, Patty, CJ, Todd and Nicole. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on August 5th, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm at Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh, NY.  A celebration of life will be held immediately at the Temple Hill Tavern in New Windsor.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jackie's name to The Green County Women's League, Cancer Patient Aid, PO Box 341, Round Top, NY 12473.

Pierre Genard Harris, age 29, of Orlando, passed away Sunday, June 6th, 2021.  A lifelong Floridian, he was born in Orlando, the son of Angela Harris and was employed  as a driver in the trucking industry.

Pierre leaves to cherish his memory, mother Angela Harris; two brothers, Rashid  Bradley, Malachi Jones of Orlando; and maternal grandparents Pearl Calhoun and Eddie Harris all of Orlando.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, June 18th, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 in the Henry Chapel of First Baptist Church of Orlando located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando Fl 32805.


George L. Davis

George L. Davis of Orlando, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 5, 2021.  He was born in Clarksville, Tennessee and moved to Orlando when his parents relocated.   He is predeceased by his mother Mary, his father George and sister Libby.  He is survived by his loving wife Josephine, brothers Floyd(Tracy), Robert(Mary), sister Mildred Clark, step children, Debbie(Ken), Sharon, John, Joey, several nieces & nephews.

George worked for many years at Elmers Paint and Body Shop.  He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Andrews Catholic Church.  He was a proud 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.  George loved to dance, break out in song, make lots of fun animal sounds and his infamous Donald Duck quack quack to children.   George loved fishing, shrimping and his stories about wrestling alligators were always such fun.  He loved being a Clown and love to travel on Cruises.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 N Kirkman Road, Orlando.  His mass will be on Friday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 801 North Hastings Street, Orlando.  Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park at 2:30 p.m.   There will be a reception following mass before Interment at St. Andrews Church, Parish Center then we will process to Glen Haven Memorial Park for Interment.

 

 

Jean Gernier Jean Felix

Jean Gernier Jean Felix, age 67, of Orlando, passed away Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.   He was born in Benait, Haiti,  on June 5, 1953, the son  of the late Manina St. Felix  and Lemonier  Jean Felix.  Jean was employed as a residential carpenter.

Jean leaves to cherish his memory, wife Nicolle Jean Felix Dalexis of Orlando; two daughters, Jeanine Jean Felix, Carline Jean Felix; son Jones Jean Felix;  sister Yvonne Jean Felix; two brothers Aneville Jean Felix, Amonville Jean Felix all of Haiti and  is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Calling Hours for the family will be held from  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 11th, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home in Orlando.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home, followed by interment at Washington Park Cemetery.



Hilda Leticia Ubiles

Hilda Leticia Ubiles, age 79 of Winter Garden, passed away on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 at Colonial Lakes Health Care.  She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Carla (Rivera) and Marcelo Acosta and was employed as a hairdresser.

Hilda dedicated her life to spreading the Gospel of Jesus.  She served in various children's ministries in Paterson, New Jersey as well as in Orlando, Florida.   She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Julio Ubiles, Sr.; son Julio Ubiles, Jr. and daughter Barbara Cazel; 3 grandsons Caleb A. Ubiles, Sean & Ethan Cazel.  She was loved by many and will be missed.  

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on June 22, 2021 in the Henry Chapel at First Baptist Church of Orlando.  The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations to Edgewood Children's Ranch in Orlando will be appreciated.  

Maria Lisa Calixte

Maria Lisa Calixte, age 39, of Orlando, passed away Monday, June 7th, 2021.  She was born in Barbados, West Indies,  on September 28, 1981, the daughter of Romana Calixte and was employed as an insurance claims representative.

Maria leaves to cherish her memory, mother Ramona Calixte; two sisters, Leann  Calixte,  Afia Calixte; and brother  Jason Calixte all of Orlando; nephew Jaden Mason and niece Anamarie Ringer, both of Bridgetown, Barbados.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 at Church of the Cross, located at 700 Good Homes Road, Orlando with Pastor Dexter Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Orlando Memorial Gardens in Apopka.

Donna Marie D'Agnenica

Donna Marie D'Agnenica, 53, The Jesus called her home at Orlando Regional Medical Center, with her family by his side, on Sunday, June 20, 2021.  She was born on October 20, 1967 in Fort Knox, Kentucky.She was the daughter of Carroll D'Agnenica and Doreen D'Agnenica.

She's Survived by her mother Doreen D'Agnenica, her sister, Sherry Faughnan-D'Agnenica and her husband Robert Faughnan, nephews Micheal Faughnan and Christopher Faughnan, Uncle Robert Hammond and his Companion Mary Fisher, cousins Patrick Hammond and  Robin Hammond and spouse Blake and their children.Uncle Jack Hammond, Aunt Tamma, cousins Mark Hammond and Christopher Hammond. Aunt Patricia Freeman , cousin Tina Hammond and her son Alexander Hammond .

Donna was a devoted daughter, sister , family member and friend. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the kindest person you could ever meet. She opened her heart to everyone that crossed paths with her in life . She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. When you think of Donna, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Windermere with Pastor Ray Lloyd officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral service at Orlando Memorial Gardens in Apopka, Florida.


Eric Eugene Lutes

Eric Eugene Lutes, known to everyone as “Rick”. Passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2021. Rick was born on January 14,1960 in Connersville Indiana. He was the oldest of six children born to Richard & Eileen Lutes.

Rick graduated from Connersville High School in 1978. He found his passion for carpentry while taking building trades in High School. He would later move to Florida to own & operate Rick’s Framing Incorporated for 35 years. He was by far one of the hardest working men we will ever know. Rick had an outstanding ability to read a blueprint and navigate the project to completion even when pertinent information was left off the blueprints. Rick inspired many to pursue their own dreams just as he did.

Rick enjoyed spending time with family, deep sea fishing, and foraging through the woods for Morell Mushrooms.

Rick will be lovingly missed by his father Richard Lutes, his wife Tammy Lutes, his children: daughter Tara Spalding (Jason), sons Joshua and Austin Lutes. Stepdaughter Amy Sailor and Mother-in-Law-Betty Marshall. Sister Lorie (Chauncey) Springer, Brother Troy (Stacey) Lutes, Brother Kevin (Cathy) Lutes, Sister Lisa (Dale) Bloom. Grandson Brady Spalding and Step Grandsons Brandon Faber and Trevor Backer and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Eileen Lutes Nichols and his youngest brother Michael Lutes, both of Connersville, Indiana.

Rick will be remembered for his integrity, work performance, and his generosity.  Rick’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  The funeral service will follow visitation on Friday, July 2, 2021 at The Lakeside Church with Pastor Jason Hitte officiating.  The church is located at 100 County Line Court, Oakland FL 34787.

Marco Antonio Hernandez Tobias, age 21, of Orlando, FL passed away Sunday, June 27th, 2021.  He was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, the son of Claudia (Hernandez) Tobias and Saturino Hernandez-Garcia.  He was employed in construction.

Marco is  survived by his parents, Claudia Tobias Hernandez of San Luis, Mexico, Saturino Hernandez Garcia of Raleigh, North Carolina; two sons Alexis Hernandez Vasquez, Dilan Francisco Hernandez Vasquez, both of Mexico; a sister Jessica Hernandez Tobias of Mexico; two brothers, Miquel Tobias, Jose Luis Tobias and companion Yesina Vasquez Arriaga all of Mexico.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home.  The service will be held at 7:00 pm with Deacon Spencer Silvers officiating.  Interment will be in Mexico.

Sarah Huckeba Mann

Sarah Huckeba Mann, 99 of Winter Park, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 12, 2021.  Sarah was born in Rome, Georgia on October 26, 1921 to Delia Zuber Couch and Ralph A. Couch.  She was married for 42 years to John P. Huckeba, Sr. until his passing February, 2004.  She was the proud mother to three sons all residing in the Orlando area (John, Jr., James C. and J. Steve Huckeba) and had four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She moved to Orlando with her family in 1954 from Marietta, Georgia.  For most of her life, Sarah was a traditional housewife and mother.  When her sons were in high school, she took a part-time job at Jordan Marsh in Orlando where she worked for several years.  Several years after the passing of her first husband, she married Homer Mann who passed away in 2000.  Sarah loved to cook, read and raise Orchids.  She was pre-deceased by her sister and six brothers.  She will be interred next to her first husband at Woodlawn Cemetery in West Orange County.

Nicholas Carioti, Sr.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Nicholas Carioti, Sr.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.  He was a rare man that had purity of both heart and soul.  He was admired and loved by all that knew him even briefly.  Nicholas passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Monday, July 5, 2021 of heart failure.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose Carioti, three sons, Alphonso, Nicholas Jr. and Albert as well as five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Nicholas Carioti only saw the best in anyone he met and always wore a smile.  He was always ready with a story to tell or a joke to make.  He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.  His passing leaves a large, irreplaceable void in our family.  Goodbye Dad, Alphonso Carioti.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10:00a until 12:00p, followed by the funeral service at Dobbs Funeral Home with Deacon Spencer Silvers officiating.



Janet Orfanello Fontano

On July 12, 2021, Janet (Orfanello) Fontano died at her home in Orlando, FL just shy of her 74th birthday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Janet is survived by her children, Luke Fontano and his wife Suzanne of Framingham, MA, Matthew Fontano of Orlando FL and Emily Fontano and her partner Adam Lind of Orlando FL. She also leaves her sister Julia Orfanello of Apollo Beach FL and her grandchildren Kelly and Connor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dennis Fontano and her parents Louis Orfanello and Beatrice (Fisher) Hutchins.  


Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, A wonderful sister, and a loyal friend with a boundless joy for living. An endless supporter of her children’s endeavors. Ball games, plays, musicals, rock shows, Janet would always be there laughing, cheering, dancing, and smiling. A zest for travel, art, film, and music, Janet’s tastes were varied and passionate. 


 A private ceremony will be held later this year.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to her favorite charity St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. 

David Andrew Hausterman

David A. Hausterman Jr.

 Died July 10th, 2021


Born July 21st, 1984 in Sarasota, FL, David was a contractor for Global Draperies Inc. for 21 years, in addition to working as an event & booking coordinator for MVK Music Group. He was passionate about his work and actively involved as both an avid supporter and promoter of his son’s music career with the band Cold Subject and their blossoming presence. David’s adventurous spirit and ability to unconditionally help strangers are each benchmarks of which many of us hope to seek and emulate.

David Jr. is survived by his son Corey Hausterman, his father & stepmother David and Lana Hausterman, mother Gina Felser, three sisters Alex Medina, Jessica Hausterman, Jennifer Lynn Hausterman, two brothers Matthew Hausterman (spouse Jennifer Leigh Hausterman) and Christopher Dell, nephews Clayton, Elijah, Liam, Samuel and Jack, nieces Daisy and Harper, grandmother Janice Felser, and numerous loving and caring aunts, uncles and cousins. David is preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Helen Hausterman, Charles Felser and Arcesio and Gloria Jaramillo.

David's Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Orlando's Henry Chapel. Pastor Jeff Thompson will officiate. 

Richard F. Knuth

Richard F. Knuth was born June 5, 1930, in Seward, Nebraska to Harry and Lydia (Barth) Knuth. He passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 91 in Orlando, Florida.  The family lived in Seward, Lancaster, and Saunders Counties until moving back to Seward County in 1950.  There he met and fell in love with Nancy Imig. Dick and Nancy were united in marriage on December 28, 1954.  To this union, they had two sons, Daniel Fredrick and Bradley Richard.

In 1958, Dick and Nancy moved across the country to Orlando, Florida to open the office of Cather and Son Drywall, where Dick served as Vice President until he became President of the Company in 1969. Cather and Son became one of the three largest drywall businesses in the United States. Drywall projects included the Vertical Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center, several large projects within the Walt Disney World Resort, many hotels throughout the state of Florida, as well as numerous high-rise condominium complexes spanning both coasts. They also operated their own rolling mills plant to fabricate steel studs and manufactured their own line of joint compound. In 1977, Dick also became a partner in a nursing home venture which built, owned, and operated a number of nursing home facilities throughout Florida.  Dick later formed Eliason and Knuth Drywall Co. of Florida, uniting with Eliason and Knuth Companies of Omaha, Nebraska.  In 1984, he sold his interest in the drywall business and formed Knuth Construction Company with his two sons, Dan and Brad. The three Knuth men enjoyed working together for many years building custom homes in Southwest Orange County.

Dick served on the Board of several established banks for over a decade from 1974 to 1985. In 1985, he cofounded Seminole National Bank, where he served as a director until 1992. In 1990, Dick served as a Director of Master Builders Council and was appointed by an Orange County Commissioner to serve on the Orange County Board of Zoning Adjustment.

Dick and Nancy were members of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Orlando, where Dick served on the Board of Trustees for 19 years.  In 1964, he was voted Chairman of The Building Committee for a 12,000 sq. ft, two story Sunday School building.  In 1989, Dick and Nancy joined St Luke’s Methodist Church.

           Beginning in 1980, Dick and Nancy invested in several Nebraska farms, which they eventually grew into a family business involving their two sons. Together, Dick and Nancy loved spending their summers in Nebraska visiting with their relatives and lifelong friends while managing the farms. Dick and his eight brothers and sisters were raised on a farm, and he was happy to be able to return to his roots.

           In addition to his parents, Harry and Lydia, Dick was preceded in death by four brothers: Gerald, Wilbur, Lawrence, and Robert.

           Dick is survived by many. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Nancy; two sons, Dan (Lea Ann) and Brad (Jane); three granddaughters, Kelley (Pat) Fry, Katie (Andrew) Cornutt and Kori (Andrew) Wissmann; two grandsons, Daniel (Caroline) Knuth and Bryce (Emily) Knuth; ten great grandchildren, Ryder and Jase Fry, Owen, Emma and Ella Cornutt, Wyatt and Jaxon Wissmann, Huntley and Hayes Knuth, and Isabelle Knuth; two brothers, Don (Phyllis) Knuth and Merle (Elna) Knuth; two sisters, Margaret (Dick) Hoover and Doris (Wayne) Troyer;  two sisters-in-law, Betty Knuth and Wilma Knuth; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dick accomplished much in his 91-year-life, but he made it clear that he was most proud of his wife of 67 years, his two sons and their wives, his five grandchildren, and his ten great grandchildren.

Alice Blanche Boler

Alice Blanche Boler, loving wife of 68 years to Joseph W. Boler, passed away July 26, 2021. She was born on June 12, 1930 in Fall River, MA. Joe and Alice relocated and have resided in Orlando, FL since 1960. Alice’s love of children and literature was shown through her wonderful career as librarian at St. Andrew Catholic School. Alice and her husband Joe were extremely active in the seniors groups for both St. Andrew Church and RAMM (Lockheed Martin). During their retirement years, Joe and Alice traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. They so enjoyed every minute they spent together. As well, Alice enjoyed her time with the Ladies Guild of St. Andrew Church. Alice was a devout Catholic, loving wife, mother, grandmother,  and the most caring and loving person in the world. She will be loved and missed by all. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, her loving children Rose-Marie, Michael, and Carol-Anne, her son-in-laws Harold and Billy, and her three grandsons Joey, Clay, and Alex. Memorial Mass will be held on August 7, 2021 at 1:30 PM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 877 N Hastings St. Orlando, FL 32808. Hilma May Walker (Hee Spencer), born July 30th, 1933, in Malvern, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.  Joseph Spencer and her mother Florence Smith both deceased.  She attended school in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.  She got married in 1969 to Herelio Antonio Walker, she welcomed openly and two stepdaughters, Joy Findley and Sharon Morris, who loved her endlessly.  She was formally employed in Jamaica as a domestic worker, thereafter she migrated to Fort Lauderdale in 1966 and later moved to Poughkeepsie, New York and later resided in Mount Vernon, New York.  In 1989 Ms. Hilma and her husband made their final move to Orlando, Florida.  She worked as a house keeping staff at Peabody Hotel until she retired.

Ms. Hilma was very caring, loving, with a sassy sense of humor.  She was the life of the party and loved by all.  Ms. Hilma loved the Lord and worshipped at Grace Bible Church here in Orlando, where she was a member of the Women's Group and very active in her Church and the community.

Ms. Hilma maintained good health up until 2017 when her health started to decline.  Ms. Hilma got progressively worse, and for the past three years was cared for by her loving husband Herelio at home.  Ms. Hilma unfortunately passed away on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at 8:06 am at home surrounded by her family and caregiver.

Ms. Hilma leaves behind her husband Herelio, stepdaughter Joy (New York) and Sharon (Canada), sisters Joan and Gwendolyn (Jamaica), brother Roynell (Jamaica) and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The family would like for all to remember her vibrant laughter, her peculiar jokes and friendly nature, always welcoming everyone with open arms.

Public visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at Dobbs Funeral Home.  A second visitation will be held at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 at Grace Bible Church, located at 801 Dorscher Rd, Orlando FL 32818 with Pastor Gene Pritchard officiating.  Entombment will follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Due to the increase in cases of the COVID 19 virus the family has decided not to engage in a repast after the burial.
